We discussed it in the last ClickUp meetup. When you do all your planning in ClickUp and also build your knowledge management in it, you want data security. If ClickUp ever has issues, you want a backup that you can rely on.
Manual Method
ClickUp offers the option to export all data. The result of this export is a .csv file that contains all database entries. This secures all the content, although a restore would be relatively time-consuming. The export can be found in the account settings.

Docs and Pages can additionally be exported as Markdown or PDF. Again, restoration is rather complex. Moreover, all these exports need to be manually initiated on a regular basis.
Automatic Method
With the latest update, ClickUp now also offers the possibility to create an automatic backup of all spaces. For this, they use a third-party provider that offers an integration with ClickUp. Data restoration is said to require only a few clicks.

I haven’t gathered any experience with the new backup option yet. If you try it out, please leave a brief report in the comments.
